SIG supports agency Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) in IT enterprise modernization and standardization. We help define strategies and establish integrated enterprise systems and data platforms that enhance security, support more efficient mission operations, enhance data quality/availability, and reduce IT costs. SIG’s expertise includes creating enterprise architecture (EA) components, data architectures, and governance models. We support agency-wide transition of systems/data to enterprise platforms by developing integration plans and monitoring programs’ adherence to EA standards. SIG creates roadmaps and conducts evaluations of emerging technology such as Enterprise Cloud Services, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM). As part of our enterprise services, SIG maintains specialized expertise in cybersecurity policy development and program management.

SIG performs lifecycle system engineering using our SEI CMMI DEV Maturity Level 3 appraised processes. We perform legacy system modernization and migration to cloud environments, creating highly adaptable and scalable solutions based open-source technologies. SIG uses Agile and SAFe methodologies to rapidly deploy capabilities in increments, prioritized based on our customers’ critical functional requirements. Our certified staff have extensive experience with the Scrum Framework, Kanban Methodology, JIRA, and scaling practices for getting the most out of Agile in a multi-project environment. SIG’s broad development experience includes financial, logistics/supply chain systems, grants management, and resource deployment systems.

SIG delivers financial, business, and program management services in support of a variety of federal agency missions. Our staff are experts in government financial and acquisition systems, such as Oracle Federal Financials and PRISM, and help our customers in aligning technology and business processes to improve funds management. We perform investment analysis, develop investment plans, lead budget creation and approval, and track expenditures to support program assessments and risk management. SIG also provides direct mission support in areas such as legal services, loan processing, and PMO operations.
