SIG Strengthens Capabilities with Acquisition of Excelicon

SIG) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Blueprint Consulting Services, LLC doing business as Excelicon. Excelicon is a strong IT services and consulting firm based in Washington, DC. With over 13 years of experience supporting critical federal agency missions, Excelicon brings a broad range of capabilities to SIG that includes enterprise architecture (EA) support, cyber policy and guidance, agile DevSecOps & transformation, data analytics, and IT modernization. 

Since 2011, Excelicon has provided technical mission support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with extensive Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and Office of the CIO (OCIO) experience.  SIG is excited to have Tushar Garg, founder of Exelicon, join us as General Manager, bringing his extensive DHS and technical expertise to our leadership ranks.  In his words, “This partnership will provide our clients with an enhanced suite of services and trusted leadership for the mission-focused, quality delivery that has always been our cornerstone."

In 2021, SIG purchased 3e Services, adding significant data services, solution architecture, and IT modernization credentials to SIG’s capabilities. In 2023 eSolytics was acquired. With over 25 years of experience, eSolytics added extensive expertise in data management and analytics, federal budgetary management, supply chain management, and records management. The acquisition of eSolytics built on SIG’s core strengths in data services, financial services, and digital transformation. With the addition of Excelicon, SIG now has established a platform by which to deliver a holistic data transformation capability, from enterprise architecture to analytics.

Vikram Agarwal, CEO of SIG, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, saying “Merging Excelicon’s enterprise-level experience and expertise expands the depth and breadth of SIG’s core capabilities in the application of advanced solutions and services.  This represents a significant step forward for SIG.”
